LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA ON MAKING AMENDMENTS AND A SUPPLEMENT TO THE LAW “ON BANKRUPTCY OF BANKS, CREDIT ORGANISATIONS, INVESTMENT COMPANIES, CRYPTO-ASSET SERVICE PROVIDERS, INVESTMENT FUND MANAGERS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES”

ON MAKING AMENDMENTS AND A SUPPLEMENT TO THE LAW “ON BANKRUPTCY OF BANKS, CREDIT ORGANISATIONS, INVESTMENT COMPANIES, CRYPTO-ASSET SERVICE PROVIDERS, INVESTMENT FUND MANAGERS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES”

Article 1. In part 2 of Article 6 of Law HO-262 of 6 November 2001 “On bankruptcy of banks, credit organisations, investment companies, crypto-asset service providers, investment fund managers and insurance companies” (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”), the words “in press and/or other mass media” shall be replaced with the words “on the home page of the bank on the Internet, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.

Article 2. In part 3 of Article 23.5 of the Law, the words “in a press with print run of at least 2 000 copies in the Republic of Armenia,” shall be deleted, and in the same part, the words “on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am,” shall be added after the words “on the Internet home page of the issuer,”.

Article 3. In Article 30 of the Law:

(1) in part 3, the words “through press and other mass media” shall be replaced with the words “on the home page of the bank on the Internet, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”;

(2) in part 6, the words “in a press with print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “on the home page of the bank on the Internet, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”;

(3) in part 7:

a. in the first sentence, the words “a copy of the newspaper that has published the interim liquidation balance sheet” shall be replaced with the words “an identification number of the public notice on the interim liquidation balance sheet or an electronic document confirming the fact that the announcement has been published, as well as the link to the public notice”,

b. in the second sentence, the words “in another press with print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “on the home page of the bank on the Internet, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.

Article 4. In part 4 of Article 31 of the Law:

(1) in the third paragraph, the words “through press or other mass media” shall be replaced with the words “by publishing on the home page of the bank on the Internet, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am” ;

(2) in the fourth paragraph:

a. in the first sentence, the words “through press and/or other mass media” shall be replaced with the words “by publishing on the home page of the bank on the Internet, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”,

b. in the second sentence, the words “through press and/or other mass media” shall be replaced with the words “by publishing on the home page of the bank on the Internet, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.

Article 5. This Law shall enter into force on the tenth day following the day of its official promulgation.
