OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
Adopted on 16 April 2026
ON MAKING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAW “ON INSURANCE AND INSURANCE ACTIVITIES”
Article 1. In part 5 of Article 34 of Law HO-177-N of 9 April 2007 “On insurance and insurance activities” (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”), the words “press and” and “other” shall be deleted.
Article 2. In Article 84 of the Law:
(1) in part 2:
a. in point 1, the words “. Moreover, Companies shall be obliged to publish the financial statements specified in this point also in printed media” shall be deleted,
b. in point 2, the words “. Moreover, Companies shall be obliged to publish the announcements on convening the annual general meeting also in printed media” shall be deleted,
c. in point 6, the words “in printed media or via other mass media” shall be replaced with the words “on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”;
(2) in part 3, the words “in printed media” shall be replaced with the words “on their websites”.
Article 3. In part 1 of Article 127 of the Law, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies in the Republic of Armenia” shall be replaced with the words “on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.
Article 4. In Article 132 of the Law, the words “in the press” shall be replaced with the words “on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.
Article 5. In part 6 of Article 136 of the Law, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies in the territory of the Republic” shall be replaced with the words “on the website of the Company, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.
Article 6. In Article 137 of the Law:
(1) in part 5, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “on the website of the Company, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”;
(2) in part 6:
a. in the first sentence, the words “one copy of the newspaper where the interim liquidation balance sheet has been published” shall be replaced with the words “the identification number of the public notice on interim liquidation balance sheet or the electronic document confirming the fact that the announcement has been published, as well as the link to the public notice”,
b. in the second sentence, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “on the website of the Company, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.
Article 7. In Article 138 of the Law:
(1) in part 7, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “through publication on the website of the Company, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”;
(2) in part 8:
a. in the first sentence, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “via the website of the Company, as well as the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”,
b. in the second sentence, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “on the website of the Company, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.
Article 8. In part 3 of Article 139 of the Law, the words “in a press with a print run of at least 2 000 copies” shall be replaced with the words “on the website of the Company, as well as on the official website for public notifications of the Republic of Armenia at http://www.azdarar.am”.
Article 9. This Law shall enter into force on the tenth day following the day of its official promulgation.
