OFFICIAL TRANSLATION
GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
DECISION
No 1820-N of 11 December 2025
ON DECLARING TOURISM VILLAGES
Guided by point 2 of part 1 of Article 4 of the Law “On Tourism”, the Government of the Republic of Armenia shall hereby decide to:
1. Declare:
(1) the following settlements of Aragatsotn Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Byurakan settlement — “Byurakan” tourism village;
b. Voskevaz settlement —“Voskevaz” tourism village;
c. Oshakan settlement — “Oshakan” tourism village;
d. Alagyaz settlement —“Alagyaz” tourism village;
e. Saghmosavan settlement — “Saghmosavan” tourism village;
f. Yeghipatrush settlement — “Yeghipatrush” tourism village;
g. Geghadzor settlement — “Geghadzor” tourism village.
(2) the following settlements of Ararat Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Hnaberd settlement — “Hnaberd” tourism village;
b. Lanjazat settlement — “Lanjazat” tourism village;
c. Urtsadzor settlement — “Urtsadzor” tourism village;
d. Ghukasavan settlement — “Ghukasavan” tourism village;
e. Lusarat settlement — “Lusarat” tourism village.
(3) the following settlements of Armavir Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Taronik settlement — “Taronik” tourism village;
b. Aratashen settlement — “Aratashen” tourism village;
c. Vanand settlement — “Vanand” tourism village;
d. Baghramyan settlement — “Baghramyan” tourism village;
e. Araks settlement of Armavir community — “Araks” tourism village.
(4) the following settlements of Gegharkunik Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Tsaghkunk settlement — “Tsaghkunk” tourism village;
b. Kalavan settlement — “Kalavan” tourism village;
c. Hayravank settlement — “Hayravank” tourism village;
d. Noratus settlement — “Noratus” tourism village;
e. Lchashen settlement — “Lchashen” tourism village;
f. Artanish settlement — “Artanish” tourism village.
(5) the following settlements of Lori Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Dsegh settlement — “Dsegh” tourism village;
b. Debed settlement — “Debed” tourism village;
c. Haghpat settlement — “Haghpat” tourism village;
d. Sanahin settlement — “Sanahin” tourism village;
e. Odzun settlement — “Odzun” tourism village;
f. Fioletovo settlement — “Fioletovo” tourism village;
g. Gyulagarak settlement — “Gyulagarak” tourism village;
h. Metsavan settlement — “Metsavan” tourism village.
(6) the following settlements of Kotayk Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Garni settlement — “Garni” tourism village;
b. Lernanist settlement — “Lernanist” tourism village;
c. Bjni settlement — “Bjni” tourism village;
d. Arzakan settlement — “Arzakan” tourism village;
e. Hankavan settlement — “Hankavan” tourism village;
f. Teghenik settlement — “Teghenik” tourism village.
(7) the following settlements of Shirak Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Jajur settlement — “Jajur” tourism village;
b. Vahramaberd settlement — “Vahramaberd” tourism village;
c. Vardaghbyur settlement — “Vardaghbyur” tourism village;
d. Sarnakhbyur settlement — “Sarnakhbyur” tourism village;
e. Amasia settlement — “Amasia” tourism village.
(8) the following settlements of Syunik Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Tatev settlement — “Tatev” tourism village;
b. Khndzoresk settlement — “Khndzoresk” tourism village;
c. Kharahunj settlement — “Kharahunj” tourism village;
d. Aghitu settlement — “Aghitu” tourism village;
e. Tegh settlement — “Tegh” tourism village.
(9) the following settlements of Vayots Dzor Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Gndevaz settlement — “Gndevaz” tourism village;
b. Herher settlement — “Herher” tourism village;
c. Artavan settlement —“Artavan” tourism village;
d. Gomk settlement — “Gomk” tourism village;
e. Gladzor settlement — “Gladzor” tourism village.
(10) the following settlements of Tavush Marz of the Republic of Armenia:
a. Yenokavan settlement — “Yenokavan” tourism village;
b. Gosh settlement — “Gosh” tourism village;
c. Haghartsin settlement — “Haghartsin” tourism village;
d. Aghavnavank settlement — “Aghavnavank” tourism village;
e. Koghb settlement — “Koghb” tourism village;
f. Chinchin settlement — “Chinchin” tourism village;
g. Kirants settlement — “Kirants” tourism village.
2. Approve management plans of the tourism villages declared under point 1 of this Decision within one year following the selection of a tourist destination management organisation at the marz or local level, from among the tourist destination management organisations qualified under the procedure prescribed by part 3 of Article 19 of the Law “On Tourism”.
3. This Decision shall enter into force on the tenth day following its official promulgation.
