LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA ON MAKING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA “ON PAYMENT AND SETTLEMENT SYSTEMS AND PAYMENT AND SETTLEMENT ORGANISATIONS”

ON MAKING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA “ON PAYMENT AND SETTLEMENT SYSTEMS AND PAYMENT AND SETTLEMENT ORGANISATIONS”

Article 1. Article 27 of Law HO-150-N of 24 November 2004 “On payment and settlement systems and payment and settlement organisations” shall be supplemented with part 9 which shall read as follows:

“9. The Central Bank shall impose sanctions as prescribed by the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On crypto-assets” for violating the requirements of the legal acts regulating the market in crypto-assets provided for by Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On crypto-assets”, other regulatory legal acts adopted on the basis thereof, including internal legal acts on providing crypto-asset services.”.

Article 2. This Law shall enter into force on the tenth day following the day of its official promulgation.
